About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Ryanair implemented a new dynamic flight planning system for data-driven efficient routes and a ground power unit (GPU) policy to reduce fuel burn during startup and shutdown, saving up to 25,000 tonnes of fuel annually across operations. Evidence: "The implementation of a ground power unit (GPU) policy (where helps available) us save up to 9kg of fuel per flight or 25,000 tonnes p.a. during start up and shut down" — https://corporate.ryanair.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/2021-Sustainability-Report_Spreads.pdf
