About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Sempra Infrastructure partnered with a Japanese consortium to evaluate and develop a facility producing e-natural gas (e-methane) from renewable hydrogen and recycled CO2 on the U.S. Gulf Coast, with liquefaction at the Cameron LNG terminal for export. This insetting approach supports decarbonization of Sempra's LNG value chain operations. Evidence: "Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Sempra (NYSE: SRE) (BMV: SRE), today announced an agreement with a consortium comprised of Tokyo Gas Company, Ltd., Osaka Gas Company, Ltd., Toho Gas Company., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation to participate in the evaluation of a proposed project to produce e-natural gas, a form of carbon recycling, in the U.S. Gulf Coast." — https://semprainfrastructure.com/news-and-events/news-releases/sempra-infrastructure-and-leading-japanese-consortium-to-develop-carbon-neutral-gas-production-and-lng-supply-chain/
