About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Daimler Truck is electrifying inbound supply logistics to its Wörth, Gaggenau, Mannheim, and Kassel plants using battery-electric eActros trucks on regional and long-haul routes up to 600 km. The project includes on-site charging infrastructure and involves logistics partners to decarbonize Scope 3 upstream value chain emissions. Evidence: "With an impressive backdrop, the symbolic starting signal for an ambitious endeavor was given on Monday, July 14, 2025: In the dispatch hall of the Wörth plant, 14 fully electric eActros 600 trucks are lined up side by side. Their mission: to gradually electrify the logistics chain for supplying the Wörth, Gaggenau, Mannheim, and Kassel plants, making it locally CO₂e-free." — https://www.daimlertruck.com/en/newsroom/stories/lighthouse-project-for-sustainability-the-electrification-of-inbound-logistics-at-daimler-truck-is-gaining-momentum
