About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Empyro plant in Hengelo, Netherlands, is the world's first commercial-scale fast pyrolysis facility, operational since 2015. It converts 5 tons per hour of wood residues into 24,000 tons per year of pyrolysis oil, process steam, and electricity. This demonstration project showcases the production of renewable fuels from lignocellulosic biomass, aiding in the transition to a bio-based economy by replacing fossil fuels.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
