CNOOC's first offshore CCUS project captures CO2 from oil production at the Enping 15-1 platform in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, purifies and injects it into underground reservoirs for storage and enhanced oil recovery. This directly reduces CNOOC's Scope 1 emissions from its own offshore operations.
