About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The AGGREGACO2 project designs, implements, and validates the first commercial production plant of carbon-negative aggregates using captured CO2 from refinery flue gas and Accelerated Carbonation Technology to process waste residues like APCr from incineration plants. The facility will valorize 22,000 tonnes of APCr annually, producing 56,000 tonnes of eco-aggregates while sequestering CO2 and diverting waste from landfills. It demonstrates cost-effective, market-competitive carbon-negative materials, reducing refinery GHG emissions and supporting circular economy benefits.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
