About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The SUN2HY project aimed to demonstrate the first pre-commercial photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) plant worldwide, producing 201 tons of green hydrogen per year directly from solar energy to supply refuelling stations near Puertollano Industrial Complex in Spain. Led by SUN2HY S.L. with partners Repsol and Enagás, the initiative focused on cost-effective, robust PEC technology reaching TRL 6 prior to deployment. Although planned to avoid 23,209 tCO2eq over 10 years of operation, the project was terminated.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
