FlagshipONE is a pioneering e-methanol production facility developed by Liquid Wind in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, aimed at decarbonizing the shipping industry. The project utilizes renewable electricity for electrolytic hydrogen production and captures biogenic CO2 to synthesize up to 100,000 tonnes of green methanol annually. Originally partnered with Ørsted, it was revived by Liquid Wind in 2025 after cancellation, and is currently under development with pre-engineering ongoing.
