About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
UPM Caledonian Paper Mill in the UK hosted a trial carbon capture unit capturing CO2 from the site's CHP boiler flue gases as part of the Flue2Chem consortium project. The unit was deployed in late 2024 and brought online in January 2025 for testing until March 2025. Evidence: "Carbon dioxide from the UPM-owned mill is being captured using technology developed by Scottish tech start-up, CCU International (CCUI)." — https://www.energyvoice.com/renewables-energy-transition/ccs/uk-ccs/567212/trial-turns-scottish-paper-mill-carbon-emissions-into-detergent/
