About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

China Airlines signed an MOU with Formosa Petrochemical Corporation (FPCC) to purchase more than 10,000 tonnes of ISCC CORSIA-certified domestically produced SAF over three years for use in flights departing from Taiwan. This directly reduces Scope 1 emissions from aviation fuel in the company's operations through insetting via sustainable feedstock. Evidence: "A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was officially signed today (7/22) between China Airlines President Kevin Chen and FPCC President Keh-Yen Lin. China Airlines will purchase more than 10,000 tonnes of SAF domestically produced by FPCC over the next three years to cut carbon emissions by up to 26,000 tonnes." — https://calec.china-airlines.com/csr/en/news20250722.html
