About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
LyondellBasell is constructing the MoReTec-1 demonstration plant in Wesseling, Germany, utilizing proprietary MoReTec advanced recycling technology to convert post-consumer plastic waste into pyrolysis oil and gas. The fully electrified facility will produce 40 kt/yr of pyrolysis oil and 7 kt/yr of pyrolysis gas, replacing fossil-based naphtha feedstock and achieving a 100% relative GHG emission reduction compared to traditional processes. This project provides operating experience for scaling up to commercial capacities of up to 200 kt/yr.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
