About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Nutrien plans to construct a new clean ammonia plant at its Geismar, Louisiana site that will use carbon capture technology to reduce CO2 emissions from its ammonia production operations by at least 90 percent. The captured CO2 will be permanently sequestered in geological storage, directly lowering the company's Scope 1 emissions from fertilizer manufacturing. Evidence: "The plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of 1.2 million metric tonnes of clean ammonia and capture at least 90 percent of CO2 emissions, permanently sequestering more than 1.8 million metric tonnes of CO2 in dedicated geological storage per annum." — https://www.nutrien.com/news/press-releases/nutrien-announces-intention-to-build-world-s-largest-clean-ammonia-production-facility-1646
