About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Gevo owns and operates the ethanol production plant and adjacent carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) facility in Richardton, North Dakota, acquired from Red Trail Energy in 2025. The CCS well captures and permanently stores CO2 from the ethanol fermentation process on-site with no offsite transport required. Evidence: "Richardton CCS, LLC (RCCS) operates a CO2 capture facility adjacent to the Gevo North Dakota ethanol facility that injects about 180,000 tonnes of CO2 annually more than a mile below RCCS property for permanent storage." — https://undeerc.org/research/projects/richardtonccs.html

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
