About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Renewi installed and inaugurated Belgium's tallest onshore wind turbine (242m) at its Ghent recycling site in partnership with ENGIE. The turbine supplies green electricity directly to the site's operations, covering a significant portion of local energy needs and reducing Scope 2 emissions. The project also includes a new high-tech waste sorting line that improves recycling rates and avoids incineration emissions. Evidence: "Alongside the sorting line, the new wind turbine, in partnership with ENGIE, was also officially inaugurated at the site. At 242m, this becomes the tallest wind turbine on the Belgian mainland, and will supply green power to the Ghent site." — https://www.renewi.com/en/about-us/news-and-media/news/inauguration-of-new-waste-sorting-line-and-wind-turbine-at-renewis-ghent-site
