Suite of nitrous oxide abatement projects at multiple Nutrien nitrogen facilities including installation of new equipment at Geismar, LA (completed late 2023), and earlier projects at Augusta GA, Kennewick WA, and Lima OH (2021-2022), removing over 80% of N2O emissions from nitric acid production. Evidence: "In late 2023, we completed the final project in our suite of N2O abatement projects by installing new equipment at our Geismar, LA site. Other projects were completed at Augusta, GA, Kennewick, WA, and Lima, OH in 2021 and 2022. At the end of 2024, after a full year of operation, these projects contributed to the removal of over 80 percent of N2O emissions from nitric acid production in our Nitrogen fertilizer production facilities, or a 1,073,000 tonne CO2e (10 percent) reduction in our overall Scope 1 emissions compared to 2021." — https://www.companiesmarketcap.com/sustainability-reports/3955.sar.en.2024.pdf?save
