About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Chevron operates the Gorgon LNG facility on Barrow Island, Australia, where the integrated CCS system captures CO2 from the gas processing plant and injects it for permanent storage. This directly reduces Chevron's Scope 1 emissions from its own upstream operations. Evidence: "More than 100 million tonnes of CO2 expected to be mitigated over the life of the CCS system." — https://australia.chevron.com/what-we-do/gorgon-project/carbon-capture-and-storage
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
