About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
GRHENA is developing a green heat hub at the Chemical Industrial Park of Tarragona, Spain, to replace fossil fuel-based industrial heat with electrified production using renewable energy, thermal energy storage, high-temperature heat pumps, and electrode boilers. The project will produce around 650 GWh_t/y of steam, achieving 100% relative GHG emissions avoidance for chemical sector off-takers and saving 1,454,829 tCO2e over 10 years. It promotes energy efficiency, renewable integration, and scalability across Europe while creating green jobs.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
