About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The GreenH2CY project produces green hydrogen from excess renewable energy using a 2 MW PEM electrolyser for the transport sector in Cyprus, replacing diesel in light and heavy-duty trucks. It includes hydrogen storage and a refueling station to enable flexible operation during off-peak electricity hours. The project is expected to avoid 21,677 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions over its first ten years by displacing 627 tons of diesel annually.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">40</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render>
