About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Linde built, owns and operates a 2 MW PEM electrolyzer plant at Infineon's Villach site in Austria to produce high-purity green hydrogen on-site from renewable energy. The plant supplies Infineon's entire semiconductor production process, replacing previously trucked-in fossil-based hydrogen. This is part of Infineon's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the site. Evidence: "Linde will build, own and operate a two-megawatt electrolyzer plant at Infineon's Villach site in Austria. The plant will produce green hydrogen using Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology from ITM Power... The use of this high-purity green hydrogen is part of Infineon's plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at their Villach site." — https://www.linde.com/news-and-media/2021/linde-to-supply-green-hydrogen-to-the-semiconductor-industry
