About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Hapag-Lloyd signed a long-term offtake agreement with Goldwind for annual delivery of 250,000 tonnes of green methanol (blend of bio- and e-methanol) starting with early volumes in 2026 and full delivery from 2027. The fuel will power the company's fleet, including methanol-retrofitted vessels, achieving GHG reductions of at least 70% versus conventional fuels. Evidence: "Hapag-Lloyd has reached an agreement with Goldwind... for the delivery of 250,000 tonnes of green methanol per year. ... Savings of up to 400,000 tonnes of CO2e emissions per year." — https://www.hapag-lloyd.com/en/company/press/releases/2024/11/hapag-lloyd-concludes-long-term-offtake-agreement-for-green-meth.html
