About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Green the Flex (GtF) project aggregates more than 2,500 decentralized residential units such as heat pumps, EV charging stations, hot water generation, and storage systems in Austria to provide ancillary services like Frequency Containment Reserve and Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve. It enables intelligent load shifting to harmonize electricity demand with fluctuating renewable generation, allowing customers to participate in energy markets and support Energy Communities. The project unlocks over 6 MW of power flexibility and 5 GWh/year short-term load shift potential, estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,500 metric tons per year.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
