About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
High-proportion biomass co-firing (10% thermal substitution) on 1 GW ultra-supercritical unit at Qingyuan Power Plant using local agricultural/forestry residues. Establishes full-chain system for biomass pulverization, storage, conveying and low-NOx combustion to reduce coal use and emissions. Evidence: "Recently, Unit 2 of Guangdong Qingyuan Power Plant achieved biomass co-firing at a 10% thermal substitution rate. This marks the first instance in China of a 1 GW unit realizing high-proportion biomass co-firing for power generation" — https://www.marketscreener.com/news/china-shenhua-energy-guangdong-qingyuan-power-plant-achieved-chinaa-s-first-high-proportion-bioma-ce7858d2dd89f421
