About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The H2BE project develops a 1 GW low-carbon hydrogen production facility in Belgium using autothermal reforming (ATR) with over 95% carbon capture and storage (CCS), producing over 210,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually for hard-to-abate industries like steel and chemicals. Captured CO2 will be transported and stored on the Norwegian continental shelf. It aims to kickstart the hydrogen economy in Northwest Europe, avoiding an average of 1.7 million tonnes of CO2 per year at offtakers.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
