About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Hainan Airlines implemented over 30 energy conservation and carbon reduction projects from 2008 to end of 2023, including route optimization, APU time control, residual fuel control, and drinking water filling optimization. These operational efficiency measures in own flight operations saved 827,000 tons of fuel cumulatively and reduced CO2 emissions by about 2.604 million tons. Evidence: "From 2008 to the end of 2023, Hainan Airlines implemented over 30 energy conservation and carbon reduction projects in total, including route optimization and APU time control, saving 827,000 tons of fuel and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.604 million tons in total." — https://www.hainanairlines.com/HUPortal/dyn/portal/DisplayPage?LANGUAGE=US&COUNTRY_SITE=RU&SITE=CBHZCBHZ&PAGE=GTSE
