Hanwha Solutions signed a 15-year long-term REC purchase agreement with Hanmaum Energy for solar-based renewable electricity. The agreement supplies approximately 6.8 GWh per year (6,800 RECs) to the Ulsan 3rd plant starting January 2023, supporting K-RE100 goals and reducing Scope 2 emissions through contracted renewables in its own operations.
