About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

General Mills entered a 25-year energy services agreement with Unison Energy for an onsite combined heat and power (CHP) system at its manufacturing plant in Hannibal, Missouri. The system will provide reliable power and heat while reducing the facility's Scope 1 emissions. It is expected to cut the facility’s Scope 1 emissions by 5% and total site emissions by 28% annually. Evidence: "To reduce our Scope 1 GHG emissions, we are partnering with Unison Energy and the Hannibal Board of Public Works on a 25-year energy services agreement for a combined heat and power (CHP) system onsite at our plant in Hannibal, Missouri. The CHP system is expected to reduce the facility’s Scope 1 emissions by 5% and total site emissions by 28% annually." — https://www.generalmills.com/-/media/project/gmi/corporate/corporate-master/files/about-us/commitments/general-mills-climate-transition-action-plan-2026.pdf?rev=b41bd12ef74145dfbc6cae473116e395&hash=78E152CD1F803D69005DB87DE8D8EF3E
