About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

At Corteva's Harbor Beach, Michigan site, engineering interventions including replacement of damaged steam traps save over 57,000 MMBtus of natural gas annually (~3,000 tonnes CO2e), with additional savings of 9,500 MMBtus (~500 tonnes CO2e) from insulated jackets. The site also received incentives for LED lighting upgrades in 2024 as part of Scope 1 and 2 reduction efforts. Evidence: "For example, replacing damaged steam traps will save over 57,000 MMBtus of natural gas annually, equivalent to emissions of about 3,000 tonnes CO2e. Additionally, we will save another 9,500 MMBtus of natural gas per year (equivalent to about 500 tonnes CO2e) by adding insulated jackets." — https://reports.corteva.com/sustainability/impactreport2024/p025-ghg-emissions-through-our-value-chain-13626-T01.html
