About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Hormel Foods signed a long-term virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) for clean energy from the Haystack Wind project in Nebraska, developed by Ørsted. The VPPA provides renewable energy certificates (RECs) to match a portion of the company's purchased electricity, reducing Scope 2 emissions from operations. The project supports additionality by enabling new renewable generation. Evidence: "Ørsted Signs Long-Term Power Purchase Agreements with Target and Hormel Foods Corporation.
