About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The HOPE project establishes an additional 3.5 GW annual production capacity for high-performance heterojunction (HJT 2.0) PV cells and modules in Europe, with cell and module facilities in Germany and an additional module facility in Spain. It aims to strengthen European PV supply chains, introduce advanced technology surpassing PERC, and supply modules for new PV power parks. The project expects an absolute GHG emission avoidance of 17 million tonnes CO2 equivalent, equivalent to twice Berlin's annual electricity consumption in generated energy.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
