About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), in joint venture with Veolia and CITIC Pacific, is developing Hong Kong's first privately funded solar farm on a landfill site at South East New Territories Landfill in Tseung Kwan O. The project, operated by Green Valley Landfill Limited, targets commercial operation in the first half of 2025 and will generate approximately 1,200,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually under the CLP Feed-in Tariff scheme. SHKP subsidiary SUNeVision will purchase linked Renewable Energy Certificates to support its own decarbonization. Evidence: "Veolia, Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), and CITIC Pacific today held a groundbreaking ceremony for the city’s first privately funded solar farm on a landfill... The project is targeted to start generating green electricity in the first half of 2025." — https://www.shkp.com/en-US/media/press-releases/veolia-sun-hung-kai-properties-and-citic-pacific-to-launch-hong-kongs-first
