About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Kinder Morgan installed five vapor recovery units at its Galena Park and Pasadena terminals on the Houston Ship Channel to capture vented hydrocarbons instead of combusting them. This reduces GHG emissions from its own Terminals business segment operations. Evidence: "Upon completion of the project , the VRUs will reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by approximately 34,000 metric tons annually." — https://www.kindermorgan.com/getmedia/40f707fe-45c6-42a8-ae23-90ee26fa7f96/VRU-Case-Study-FINAL.pdf
