Tencent installed a hybrid renewable microgrid integrating wind power, solar PV, and battery energy storage at its Huailai Dongyuan data center in Hebei Province, China. The project became China's first data center microgrid with an intelligent management model integrating wind, solar, storage, and load upon grid connection. It supports Tencent's data center operations with on-site renewable generation.
