About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

MOL Drybulk is collaborating on the development and operation of a 17,500-DWT hydrogen-fueled multi-purpose vessel as part of a NEDO Green Innovation Fund project. The vessel will use a marine hydrogen engine developed by J-ENG and Kawasaki, with full-scale verification leading to engine shipment in January 2027 for installation. Evidence: "Once full-scale verification is complete, the engine is scheduled for shipment in January 2027 and will be installed as the main engine of a 17,500-DWT hydrogen-fueled multi-purpose vessel ("the Vessel") designed and built by Onomichi Dockyard." — https://www.mol.co.jp/en/pr/2026/26022.html
