About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

ORLEN is constructing a large-scale installation for producing synthetic fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO), including e-Jet sustainable aviation fuel, using renewable hydrogen from electrolysis and biogenic CO2 via Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The project supports decarbonization of ORLEN's refining and petrochemical operations and value chain by enabling low-emission fuel production for aviation and petrochemical feedstocks. Evidence: "The "HyFly" project involves the construction of an installation for the large-scale production of synthetic fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO) according to the Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) technology using RFNBO hydrogen and biogenic CO2." — https://www.orlen.pl/en/sustainability/transition-projects/hydrogen/News-about-hydrogen/ORLEN-HyFly-project-large-scale-production-of-synthetic-fuels-of-non-biological-origin-RFNBO
