About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

SoftBank Corp. launched a demonstration project for a hybrid solar and wind-powered mobile base station in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The on-site renewables supply approximately one-third of the station's electricity needs, reducing reliance on grid power and enabling operation during outages as part of efforts to decarbonize base station operations (Scope 2). Evidence: "SoftBank began operating a hybrid renewable energy base station in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. The station generates one-third of the required power on-site" — https://www.softbank.jp/corp/news/press/sbkk/2026/20260108_02/
