About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The IH2 Drop-in fuel Demo plant is a demonstration-scale facility in Bangalore, India, using Shell's IH2 technology to convert residual biomass into drop-in renewable fuels such as biodiesel, biokerosene, gasoline, and diesel through pyrolysis and hydroconversion processes. Operational since around 2019, the plant processes up to 5 metric tons of biofuel per day and demonstrates high yields and hydrogen self-sufficiency. It aims to validate the technology for commercial applications in reducing transportation fuel emissions.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
