About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Implats signed a five-year renewable electricity supply agreement (RESA) with Discovery Green to supply wheeled solar and wind power, replacing up to 90% of Impala Refineries’ electricity use starting Q2 2026 and reducing Scope 2 GHG emissions by more than 852,000 tonnes CO2e over the agreement period. Evidence: "The RESA will supply up to 90% of Impala Refineries’ electricity needs from 2026, significantly reduce its scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by more than 852 000 tonnes CO e over the five years of the RESA" — https://www.implats-ir.co.za/results/2025/interims-results-2025/pdf/news-release.pdf
