About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Cargill installed methane capture systems at five tropical palm facilities in Indonesia to capture biogas for onsite electricity generation. One project came online in early 2024 with additional installations following, delivering a combined estimated reduction of 235,000 MT CO2e. Evidence: "At a Cargill tropical palm facility in Indonesia, we’ve installed systems that capture methane gas onsite and use it to generate electricity to power the facility. Subsequently, we have installed methane capture systems in four more palm facilities, expecting a total estimated GHG reduction of 235,000 MT CO2e across all five facilities." — https://www.cargill.com/sustainability/doc/1451373892069/2025-cargill-impact-report-climate.pdf
