About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
RAD4AL introduces innovative UV and electron beam radiation curing technology for aluminium coil coating at a new Elval Colour facility in Greece, eliminating natural gas ovens and solvent-based coatings to drastically reduce energy use and VOC emissions by up to 100%. The project achieves 76% GHG emissions avoidance relative to reference scenarios, expecting 308,822 tonnes CO2e savings over the first 10 years of operation. Funded by the EU Innovation Fund with €18.2 million, it supports Europe's decarbonisation goals and is replicable across the Viohalco Group.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
