Pernod Ricard is investing approximately $250 million to build a new carbon-neutral distillery for its Jefferson’s Bourbon brand in Marion County, Kentucky. The facility will use renewable electricity-powered electrode boilers, on-site electric vehicles, extensive solar and natural lighting, and other low-carbon technologies.
