About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Aramco is developing a large-scale CCS hub in Jubail to capture CO2 from its own gas processing plants and other industrial sources for storage. The project supports Aramco's net-zero Scope 1 and 2 target for wholly-owned assets by 2050. Evidence: "phase one of the new CCS hub in Jubail... is expected to capture and store up to nine million metric tons of CO2 annually, and construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2027." — https://www.aramco.com/en/news-media/news/2024/aramco-linde-and-slb-sign-shareholders-agreement-for-one-of-the-largest-ccs-hubs-globally
