About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Host Hotels & Resorts owns and has installed a 190 kW rooftop solar photovoltaic system at the JW Marriott Washington, DC property as part of its on-site renewable energy initiatives. The system contributes to the hotel's LEED Gold certification and generates approximately 20% of the hotel's annual electricity demand while delivering nearly $100,000 in annual savings. This is one of multiple on-site solar projects across Host's portfolio of 16 properties with solar installed or under development. Evidence: "The JW Marriott Washington, DC is the first full-service hotel in the D.C. metro area to earn LEED Gold® EBOM certification, featuring a 190kW rooftop solar system that saves nearly $100,000 annually." — https://www.hosthotels.com/-/media/HostHotels/Files/DownloadLinksAssets/CR-Highlights/Host_Hotels_Resorts_Inc_2025_Corporate_Responsibility_Report.pdf
