About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

JR East Group developed and began operating the Kawauchi Kitaroyama Wind Power Plant in Fukushima Prefecture as part of its renewable energy initiatives to supply power for railway operations. The plant generates approximately 93,400 MWh annually and contributes to reducing the Group's CO2 emissions through on-site renewable generation. Evidence: "we began operations of the Kawauchi Kitaroyama Wind Power Plant (generating approx. 93,400 MWh annually) in Fukushima Prefecture in February 2025." — https://www.jreast.co.jp/en/company/csr/environment/carbon-neutral/
