About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Henkel achieved carbon-neutral production at its Adhesive Technologies sites in Kurkumbh, India and Gebkim, Türkiye through full electrification of process heat (replacing furnace oil and natural gas boilers with electric systems) combined with 100% renewable electricity sourcing. These insetting measures eliminated Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions at the sites. Evidence: "At Kurkumbh, carbon-neutral operations were achieved by replacing furnace oil–based thermic fluid heaters with high-efficiency electric systems, eliminating fossil fuel use. ... At its Gebkim Plant in Türkiye, Henkel has implemented a landmark electrification project by fully replacing a natural gas–fired boiler with a high-efficiency electric boiler system." — https://www.punekarnews.in/pune-henkel-advances-decarbonized-operations-with-carbon-neutral-site-in-kurkumbh/
