About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

BYD partnered with Apparent to develop and own a 2 MW solar PV and 2 MWh battery storage system at its Lancaster Coach & Bus manufacturing plant in California. The project generates and stores renewable energy on-site to power BYD's own manufacturing operations under a 25-year power purchase agreement with the plant. It demonstrates BYD's commitment to on-site renewables for reducing operational emissions. Evidence: "With Novato, Calif.-based Apparent, BYD will own and operate the project utilizing BYD solar panels and batteries and Apparent’s intelligent grid operating software (igOS™). BYD Coach & Bus will buy power from the system under a 25-year agreement. The system is expected to be operational Fall of 2019." — https://en.byd.com/news/press-release-byd-apparent-to-partner-on-intelligent-solar-energy-project/
