About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Ongoing operational efficiency program launched in 2010 implementing over 50 initiatives across flight phases including weight reduction, route optimization, and ground operations to reduce fuel consumption. Achieved approximately 7% efficiency gains and avoided 5.6 million tons of CO2 emissions since inception through end of 2024. Evidence: "From its inception through the end of 2024, the program achieved ~7% efficiency, successfully avoiding the generation of approximately 5.6 million tons of CO₂ since 2010." — https://www.latamairlines.com/us/en/sustainability/climate-change
