About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Beiersdorf's newest factory in Leipzig, Germany, has operated with climate-neutral Scope 1 and 2 emissions since production began in 2023 through biomethane use instead of natural gas, electric forklifts, and on-site renewable electricity generation. A 4.6 MWp photovoltaic system supports the site's transition toward becoming an 'Energy Plus Factory' that generates more green electricity than it consumes. Evidence: "Our newest factory in Leipzig has been climate neutral in Scope 1 & 2 since the start of production in 2023." — https://www.beiersdorf.com/~/media/Beiersdorf/sustainability/reporting/climate-transition-plan/Beiersdorf-Climate-Transition-Plan-Sept-2024.pdf
