About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Hexcel is converting two key gas-powered systems (HVAC and gas-driven cooling) to electric operation at its Les Avenières site in France. The project reduces natural gas consumption and uses 100% renewable electricity. It is a major investment in energy efficiency within Hexcel's own operations. Evidence: "We are undertaking a significant electrification project at one of our French sites (Les Avenieres). The initiative involves the conversion of two key gas-powered systems to electric operation: HVAC system and a gas-driven cooling system. This project represents a major investment to reduce natural gas consumption across the plant. Importantly, the electricity used to power these systems is sourced entirely from renewable energy." — https://www.hexcel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Hexcel_Sustainability_2024.pdf
