About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Liaoning Comprehensive Utilization of Tailings Solid Waste Resource Demonstration Project is a green low-carbon initiative that processes iron tailings using advanced technologies such as pre-enrichment, fluidized magnetization roasting, and magnetic separation. It aims to handle 24 million tonnes of iron tailings annually to produce 2.2 million tonnes of 65% iron ore concentrate, equivalent to an 8.5 million tonnes per year iron ore mining and processing complex. The project significantly reduces carbon emissions by avoiding new mining activities.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
