About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Lonza Capsugel signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Belgian renewable energy cooperative Beauvent for a local wind turbine directly connected to its Bornem site in Belgium. Combined with onsite solar and an existing virtual PPA, the site now operates on 100% renewable electricity, reducing Scope 2 emissions. Evidence: "Lonza Capsugel has strengthened its renewable energy strategy by integrating locally generated wind power into operations at its Bornem site in Belgium... Delivered through a long term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Belgian renewable energy cooperative Beauvent... The wind turbine is projected to generate approximately 14% of the site’s total electricity needs." — https://www.capsugel.com/media-advisories/2026-05-20
